Agriculture is the backbone of any nation, and with the growing importance and popularity it is getting important for us to gain proper knowledge in this field. The Doon Institute of Management and Research, Rishikesh, runs an undergraduate degree program in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture). The college is affiliated from Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand Vishwavidhyalaya, Badshahithaul, Tehri Garhwal. The college provides a conducive environment to the students for learning and overall growth. The college ensures individual attention to each and every student through its advisory system. The advisory system is supplemented by a system of student counselors. For each group of 10 first-degree students, a teacher advisor is appointed. The teacher-advisor guides, supervises and monitors the academic performance of his/her advisees.
This course of four years provides the sound knowledge about agriculture and allied sectors. It also gives an opportunity to gain experience of working in the practical fields; agro based industries and set up a platform for the students to excel in their career taking agriculture as the base.
